On the Law School Innovation Blog Mark Osler has two posts relating Malcolm Gladwell’s ideas in “Outliers” to legal academia; the first on Gladwell’s ‘hours of practice’ concept and the second on how rules of advancement affect outcomes as to who becomes ‘outliers’ or star performers. In a somewhat related post, Jeff Harrison ponders what it would look like if we chose football teams the same way we pick faculties.
